The Municipal Ethics Commission is going to look into the Perfect Output Audit. But, according the Falling Star, they won't look at Cauthen. It makes you wonder, did they even look at the audit?
What a joke! Will McCarther is on the Municipal Ethics Commission! The same Will McCarther that works for HCA, whose salary is being paid out of the Citadel TIF? He has been a huge buddy of Riley's for a long time. He had the nerve to accuse others of a conflict?
Some of you know a lot more about this than I do. Did anyone get to witness this hearing?

Riley is ruling city hall with his thuggery. Ed Ford knew the contract extension was illegal, but Riley pushed him into it. The nine are falling over themselves pandering to the black vote, every one of them thinking they can be the next mayor.
I don't get it. Why is everyone so afraid of Wayne Cauthen? Yes, he's a nasty piece of work, but wouldn't it be nice not to have to deal with his tantrums, nastiness, and racist-based decision-making. Wake up, City Council! WC is making a mockery of you! Hold him accountable. There's been plenty come out since you were so quick to rush to judgment over the Mayor's efforts to let him go. Have the courage to accept the fact that you jumped on the Mayor for the wrong reasons - not because he didn't have credible reasons to dump Cauthen, but because he handled it very poorly and excluded you all from the process. Be the bigger persons. This City cannot affort WC and his minions. He will bankrupt us before he's through if he's not sent packing. PLEASE....PLEASE.... PLEASE WAKE UP AND DO THE RIGHT THING BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.
This is too much. Sadly this is too much. There is no hint of good coming from city hall. We have no one in any office, elected or appointed, who has the morals to pull the plug on the thievery and lies.
when i was working there before i retired i try to tell the higher ups about all the thefts that were going on even told security manager but it fell on deaf ears. thats not counting all the council and such that were on the take. not everyones afraid of riley the people in his district deserve everything that riley can steal
